New products2026 new golf club release calendarRelease dates and prices, month by month from January to December
Updated: Nov 6, 2026Contains affiliate links
Not sure when the new club you want comes out, or what it costs?I've put every 2026 release date in a month-by-month table, starting in January. As of Nov 6, five announced models are still waiting to go on sale (on Oct 10 it was 80 released and 8 to come). I only list release dates and suggested retail prices that I checked against manufacturer sites in this site's own articles. Rumored models are left out. The far-right column shows which article has the numbers and when I checked them. Knowing the date and price ahead of time saves you from buying a club the week before its successor lands, and lets you decide whether to wait or buy now. I average 72 with a best of 68 and spend a lot of time studying how clubs are built. Here are the patterns I noticed once everything was lined up.
New models I've actually hit:From this calendar, I played the QUANTUM (9°) for about three weeks from October, four rounds plus 20 balls indoors. The Vokey SM11 has been in the bag for about 25 rounds since August, the ZXi5 for 18 sessions from late September to the end of October, and I hit the Titleist GTS2 20 balls indoors and over 14 holes on the course in October. I hit the Qi4D, PING G440 K, Mizuno JPX ONE and Srixon ZXi RKT at local indoor ranges and fitting bays in October. That let me check them against my own ball flight before paying full price. Other new models, such as the Callaway QUANTUM MAX irons, I've only handled in a shop or compared on the official specs.
The Gear Nerd's Take
The 2026 releases split into two peaks: January–February and September. The big names, TaylorMade, PING and Callaway, launched their drivers in January–February, while Srixon and Bridgestone refreshed their lineups in September. Counted by month, September had the most, with 19.
The next thing that stands out is price increases. The Srixon ZXi5 six-piece steel set went from ¥151,800 to ¥171,600, and the Bridgestone B-FORGED rose by ¥13,200 for six clubs. Among fairway woods, too, many went up ¥4,400–6,600 from the previous model this year.
On the construction side, forged soft carbon steel continued in wedges, and in putters zero torque (a design that puts the center of gravity on the extension of the shaft line) spread to Odyssey, TaylorMade and L.A.B. Golf. Almost all the drivers are 460cc, and every maker gives the same explanation: a thinner face for more ball speed. In a year when size doesn't separate them, I choose by what changed from the previous model rather than by how new the release date is.

2026 golf club release dates: bottom line
Watch out for models with the same name but different insides. The Srixon ZXi5 and ZXi7 share both name and lofts with the 2024 versions, and every Scotty Cameron PHANTOM model has an insert from the 2026 versions on. When buying used or discounted, checking the release year is the cheapest way to avoid a mistake.
Some new releases can't be bought at your local shop. Both Bridgestone B-Limited BX models are custom order only. T//WORLD for the Queen reportedly reaches general retailers in late November.
Prices in the tables are MSRP and differ from store prices. Models released in January–February may be discounted by fall.
Wait or buy a new release? Three things decide it
The day a new club comes out isn't always the day to buy. I decide whether to wait or buy by these three things.
- Look at the peak for the type you want.Drivers from the big makers cluster in January to March, and irons gather in September. I schedule a hit-and-compare day around that peak.
- Do the numbers really differ? On TrackMan, the QUANTUM gave me 46 m/s head speed and 251 yd carry. The ZXi RKT, hit in a fitting bay in October, averaged 247 yd over 10 balls with the standard head. Different days and conditions, so treat the gap as a rough guide. Hitting them side by side on the same day is the only sure test.
- Can you hit it before paying full price?A 6-piece ZXi5 set is JPY 171,600. I got 18 sessions with it before deciding. With new models, I hit 10 balls in a fitting bay and look at the average.
Bottom line:Drivers land from January to March. I hit them, compare the numbers and buy only the one that actually stands out.
Knowing the peak months ahead of time spares you the regret of a new model dropping right after you buy, and lets you pick the month to wait and the month to buy yourself.
The newest release in each category mostly came out in September
Answer first. Here is the newest launch in each category as of Oct 31, one line each (the putter, shaft and rangefinder rows are updated from the Oct 28 table). In drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons and wedges, the newest model is a September release in every category.

Counting by type: when do the most new clubs come out? (a count table)
I counted the rows of this page's monthly tables by type and by period. Some rows hold more than one model, so the counts are table rows. The most is 30 in July to September, and September alone has 19, about 22% (19 ÷ 85) of all rows.
| Category | Jan to Mar | Apr to Jun | Jul to Sep | October | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Driver | 4 | 3 | 5 | 1 | 13 |
| FW | 3 | 1 | 4 | 0 | 8 |
| UT | 3 | 0 | 3 | 0 | 6 |
| Irons | 3 | 2 | 5 | 0 | 10 |
| Wedges | 3 | 3 | 4 | 1 | 11 |
| Putters | 5 | 7 | 2 | 2 | 16 |
| Shaft | 3 | 4 | 5 | 3 | 15 |
| Rangefinders | 0 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 6 |
| Total | 24 | 23 | 30 | 8 | 85 |
By type, putters are the most numerous at 16, followed by shafts at 15 and drivers at 13. Drivers have 4 in January to March and 5 in July to September. Of the 10 irons, 4 came in September alone. Knowing when the type you want tends to arrive helps you avoid buying at list price just before a new model, and lets you plan a day to compare before and after the release.
January–March: the big brands' new drivers all arrived
From the TaylorMade Qi4D on Jan 29 to the PING G440 K and Callaway QUANTUM in February and the Mizuno JPX ONE in March, the big brands' drivers all arrived within three months. TaylorMade, Callaway and Mizuno also released same-name fairway woods and hybrids on the same day as their drivers. PING's G440 K is driver only.

"Media figure" in the table means I couldn't read the text on Callaway's official site, so I used the price published by golf media. Check with a retailer before buying.
April–June: the most new putters
Spring to early summer brought 7 new putters, the most of any category. For drivers, the Titleist GTS on Jun 11 was the biggest release of this period.

July–September: Srixon and Bridgestone's fall releases cluster
After the PRGR RS in July, new models suddenly piled up once September began. Nineteen in one month is the most in this past year. Among them, Srixon on the 12th replaced its drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons on the same day.

For T//WORLD for the Queen, Sep 18 is the date media reported as the start of pre-orders at Honma's own stores and official online shop. As of Sep 19, Honma Golf's product page didn't list a release date. Srixon also released the ZXiU, an iron-style hybrid (utility), on Sep 12, but I left it out of the table because its price isn't in any article on this site.
Callaway also released a no-plating finish of the APEX MB on Sep 3 (limited quantity, made to order). It's a finish variant, not a new design, so it isn't in the list.
Models I checked, and models I hit in a fitting bay
Of the new models in this table, I hit four on the course and indoors and four in fitting bays. I didn't buy them. Hitting a club first tells you whether it suits your ball flight before you pay full price.
| New release | - When I hit it | Where and how much | My numbers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Callaway QUANTUM 9° | From October, for about 3 weeks | 4 rounds and 20 balls on indoor TrackMan | Clubhead speed 46 m/s, carry 251 yards, 2,600 rpm of spin (shaft: VENTUS TR RED 6S, 45.25 inches) |
| Titleist GTS2 9° | October | 20 balls indoors and 14 holes on a course | Carry 246 yards, 2,700 rpm, ±16 yards left to right |
| Titleist Vokey SM11 | From August | About 25 rounds and 40 balls on TrackMan | Carry of 105 yards with the 50° and 78 yards with the 58°. After about 25 rounds, the grooves have not lost spin yet |
| Srixon ZXi5 (six-club set) | Two rentals, late September to end of October | 10 rounds, 5 indoor sessions, 3 TrackMan-only sessions | 7-iron carry of 160 yards and 6,300 rpm (copied from the TrackMan screen) |
| TaylorMade Qi4D standard (hitting bay) | October | 10 balls on indoor TrackMan | Carry 248 yards, 2,650 rpm |
| PING G440 K (hitting bay) | October | 10 balls on indoor TrackMan | Carry 246 yards, 2,550 rpm |
| Mizuno JPX ONE (hitting bay) | October | 15 balls on indoor TrackMan | Carry 245 yards, 2,700 rpm |
| Srixon ZXi RKT standard (hitting bay) | Third week of October | 10 balls each of standard, MAX and LS in a hitting bay | The standard averaged 247 yards of carry over 10 balls (mat, 22°C) |
The six drivers carried 245 to 251 yd, a spread of 6 yd (my subtraction). The longest was the QUANTUM at 251 yd and the shortest the JPX ONE at 245 yd. The days I played them differ from the fitting days, so I don't rank them. Treat this as a rough guide.
This is the day I decided, looking at the release list. On a weekday in October I went alone to a golf shop near me after work, looked down the list of new models and decided to hit them first. It was cloudy and 17°C. The staff said the QUANTUM was available to try that week, so I hit it that weekend. The high prices made me hesitate. Being able to hit it first is what settled it.
What went well was the 3rd hole, a dogleg right, where the QUANTUM's gentle fade bent naturally and left me 150 yards in. What went badly was that the same QUANTUM pushed 3 of 10 balls to the right; moving the ball half a ball-width to the left in my stance reduced them. With the GTS2, 3 of 20 balls hooked left, and I fixed that by loosening my grip slightly.
I used rangefinders too: the Voice Caddie Laser FIT2 for about 10 rounds and the Garmin Approach Z10 for about 8 rounds, both since September, both at public courses. The Laser FIT2 showed the slope in front of and behind the flag, and the distance didn't jump around. But one morning the flag was hazy in fog, the lock slipped, and it picked up a tree near the flag first. The Z10's numbers are easy to read, though on mornings with the sun behind the flag I had to shade the screen with my hand.
If I chose again, I'd hit the QUANTUM again. I haven't decided whether to buy one.
With new clubs, the safest order is to check your ball flight in a fitting first, before paying full price. Major brands release drivers from January to March, and four irons came out together in September. Find a shop where you can hit them around then and you'll be ready.
Five so far. Which clubs come out in November?

Some limited models are also out this fall that you can't buy at ordinary stores. TaylorMade's P8CB MIDNIGHT OBSIDIAN irons were due on Sep 17 and are sold only at TaylorMade's own stores and SELECTFIT STORE+. The heads are S25C forged mild steel in a black finish, with gold on the club numbers and ferrules, and the maker says the underlying design is the same as the P8CB (TaylorMade Golf press release, Sep 17, 2026). Both Bridgestone BX drivers are custom-order only.
None of the models this site had confirmed as of Oct 31 is a new release for Dec. Models like the PING G450, whose name is circulating before launch, won't be listed until they're officially announced in Japan.
I update this calendar every month. Last updated: Nov 3, 2026 (moved the 5 models released in month 10 into the table; the month 11 list now has 4 models).
About the writer and sources
The writer has an average score of 72, plays 150 rounds a year, has a driver head speed of 46 m/s and hits a slight fade. I read the official numbers side by side, and for the gear I used I give my own numbers too.
I put the models I tried in the section "Models I checked, and models I hit in a fitting bay". The subtractions and sorting of official figures are mine. Last updated Nov 3, 2026.
FAQ
When will the 2026 golf clubs all be out?
The major makers' drivers came in January–March, and irons clustered in the fall. The Srixon ZXi and Bridgestone B-FORGED launched in September, the busiest month with 19 models. Releases scheduled for October onward are mostly limited editions and custom-order items, so the main 2026 clubs were almost all out by September.
What are Titleist's new irons for 2026?
No newly designed model has been released. On Mar 27, 2026, a limited-edition “Oil Can finish” of the T100, T150, T250 and T350 went on sale (¥217,800 for a 6-club set). The current T-SERIES was released on Aug 22, 2025. I cover the details in Titleist New Irons 2026.
What's the newest driver as of Sep 2026?
Among those you can buy at major retailers, it's the Srixon ZXi RKT, released Sep 12 (4 models, ¥89,100). The Bridgestone B-Limited BX TOUR MAX came out Sep 18 and the BX★★TOUR on Oct 9, but both are custom order only.
When do the new 2026 irons come out?
Newest first: Srixon ZXi7, ZXi5 and ZXiR on Sep 12; Bridgestone B-FORGED 100CB and 200CB+ on Sep 4; PING G740 on Jul 16; Mizuno MX FORGED on Jun 5; Callaway X FORGED on Apr 10; Callaway QUANTUM MAX on Feb 13; and TaylorMade Qi MAX on Jan 29.
Are any new clubs coming out in October or later?
As of Oct 10, these had been announced: Fujikura's JADE SPEEDER fairway wood shaft (Oct 15), Kasco's 9/9 STRAP PUTTER Torqueless (Oct 16), Garmin's Approach S72 golf GPS watch (47mm on Oct 22) and Fujikura's limited SPEEDER BOOST BLACK shaft (Oct 29), checked Oct 7. On Oct 13, PRGR announced the R35 and R50 wedges (Nov 12). Press reports say Honma's T//WORLD for the Queen reaches regular shops in late November. Five of these are already on sale. On Oct 23, Callaway announced the FULL TOE SP wedge (Nov 13). As of Nov 6, five are still to come: the PRGR R35/R50 wedges (Nov 12), the Callaway FULL TOE SP wedge (Nov 13), the Fourteen NEW TB-7 FORGED (Nov 13), the 43mm Garmin Approach S72 (planned for early November) and the Honma T//WORLD for the Queen (regular shops in late November, per press reports).
When will successors to the TaylorMade Qi4D and PING G440 K come out?
When I checked on Sep 14, no successor had been announced in Japan. The PING G450 hasn't been officially announced in Japan either. If one is announced, I'll add it to this calendar.
Where can you buy the Callaway FULL TOE SP wedge?
Callaway says it is sold only through CALLAWAY SELECTED PARTNER STOREs, the Callaway online store and its own shops (including the official Callaway store on Rakuten). It goes on sale Nov 13 at JPY 31,900 per club. Lofts are 54, 56, 58 and 60 degrees, all with the J grind. Grooves run right out to the toe and the toe is built up tall, so the head looks big at address. That makes it easier to open the face with confidence for bunker shots and lobs.
Which new golf clubs are coming out in November 2026?
I've confirmed five. The PRGR R35/R50 wedges arrive Nov 12 (JPY 33,000 each). The Callaway FULL TOE SP wedge and the Fourteen NEW TB-7 FORGED both arrive Nov 13 (the wedge is JPY 31,900 per club; the irons are JPY 165,000 for a 5-piece set). The 43mm Garmin Approach S72 is due in early November (JPY 128,000), and the Honma T//WORLD for the Queen reaches regular shops in late November (per press reports). This is as of Nov 6, 2026. Planned dates can still move.
